Monteagle Summer View, watercolour, 2002
The border of this drawing includes some of my favourite late spring wildflowers: white daisies, yellow buttercups, purple clover, and orange hawkweed (we always called it Devil's Paintbrush). I am not sure of the name of the tiny white star-like flower. The Blue-eyed Grass flower on the text page is purple with a yellow center and, oddly, does seem to have flowers springing out of a flat blade of grass.
