Monteagle Summer View, watercolour, 2002

The border of this drawing includes some of my favourite late spring wildflowers: white daisies, yellow buttercups, purple clover, and orange hawkweed (we always called it Devil's Paintbrush). I am not sure of the name of the tiny white star-like flower.  The Blue-eyed Grass flower on the text page is purple with a yellow center and, oddly, does seem to have flowers springing out of a flat blade of grass.

Please refer to the previous notes about the Monteagle hills for colour comments on the inset image.

Available as a 12"x9" print, $40. Please contact Ketha for details.
