June

Poppies and Monteagle, watercolour, 1998

June is so full of new life it was hard to select what to include.  These large orange poppies sit on a table in the cabin by the window over looking the hills of Monteagle, our ward in the township of Hastings Highlands.  The newly erupted leaves are so many different greens, getting darker as the hills recede to blue on the horizon. If you only have one or two greens, try putting yellow down first and then green on top to make it lighter.

The text page shows a little strawberry plant with white flower and a purple flag iris from down at the pond.

Available in a 9"x12" print, $40. Please contact Ketha for details.
