Limerick Vertical, watercolour, 2011
Some very kind art lovers invited me to paint on their secluded land adjoining Limerick Lake. I returned a number of times over the years, drawn to the dense cedar trees leaning out from the shore. In this area the predominant rock seems to be light grey limestone instead of granite.
In July the delicious wild blueberries shown with the text arrive.
